From our mailbox:
"As a hobby I lectured at former N.A.S. Quonset Point in 2002 but my main aim was to retrace the footsteps of my grandfather Patrick Galvin (whom I never knew) who was proclaimed LONG JUMP STATE CHAMPION OF RHODE ISLAND in the early 1920s and he achieved the feat at Rocky Point."

And a reminder:
I'm speaking and showing clips of You Must Be This Tall this Sunday, February 17th, at 1:30 p.m., at the Museum of Work and Culture in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. Hope to see you there!

Hi there
I just finished watching "You Must Be This Tall - The Story Of Rocky Point Park" and all the extras for the zillionth time tonight, and it never fails to raise a smile and make me shed a tear.
Of course, living all my life in the UK, I never visited Rocky Point (or the USA for that matter) But as a collector of amusement park books and films, I'm always on the lookout for nostalgic films; or better yet, professionally-produced documentaries about specific amusement parks.
"You Must Be This Tall - The Story Of Rocky Point Park" certainly delivers - every time.
Thank you.
